Make a positive impact in the community! When you join the National Forum for Black Public Adminstrators - Central Arizona Chapter, you become a part of our national organization to promote advancement and leadership in public administration and the community at large.

Take a moment to review the benefits of local and national membership.

Broaden your professional knowledge

Throughout the year, we offer opportunities to keep members up to date on the latest industry innovations, research and trends. Our professional development seminar offers many opportunities to learn "best practices" or new ideas, hear about key achievers in your field, and brainstorm with others who are also looking to share and learn new information.

Take charge of your career

Take advantage of career resources. Members may know about job openings or other perks available only to insiders. This is a great way to find targeted job postings in your field.  Also listing your membership on your resume sends the message to future employers that you are a dedicated professional.

Enhance your network

Making connections is critical to success, and joining NFBPA CAC yields countless opportunities to get connected. Participating in NFBPA forums, chat groups or discussion boards is also a great way to grow your network. This allows you to sound off to peers and make some great friends with the same interests as you.

Hone your leadership skills

Want to be a mover and shaker -  a leader in your field? You may find a mentor to help you with your professional needs or you may be in a position to become a mentor to someone else. Giving back can be the greatest reward and benefit. You can volunteer to be a speaker or become a member of a committee or Board. We need creative, energized people just like you!

NFBPA is proud to offer the following services and programs to meet the management and professional development needs of its national membership. Through our national network, you gain the opportunity to participate in a vibrant, global network of the nation’s most respected Black public professionals and a unique forum in which to exchange leadership and management innovations, professional development techniques, and skill-building strategies.
